The Irresistible Connection: A Billionaire Bad Boy Second Chance Mystery Romance (The Billionaire League Series Book 1) Page 6
“Yes.”
And, without another word, he slipped inside of me. It was a tight fit. His monster package stretched every inch of my hole. At one point, I thought he was going to rip me in half.
My nails dug into his shoulder blades as I tried to accommodate his thick girth. “Don’t stop...”
He pushed himself deeper and deeper until I felt his balls pressed up against me. Once he was fully inside, he started rocking his hips, in and out, in and out.
Already soaking wet from the foreplay, he had no issue picking up speed. It didn’t take long before he moved like an animal. He grunted with pleasure, going faster and faster.
I screamed out his name, head tilted back as the water nipped at our bodies.
He rolled us over and held me by the hips. “Now, your turn.”
I grinned, placed my hands on his chest, and started to move up and down his shaft. At first, I took my time. After all, he wasn’t the only one who knew how to tease.
Impatient, he slapped my ass, hoping that would encourage me to speed up.
It didn’t. I just went even slower, moving at an almost agonizing pace.
“Kylie...”
I silenced him with a kiss, our lips dancing together, electricity buzzing between them. I had never felt this way before. Being with this man made me feel so alive.
Breathless, I pulled away from the kiss and allowed my breasts to hand right above his face. Roy didn’t let the opportunity pass him by. He took them into his mouth, sucking and biting for all he was worth.
I moaned, my walls quivering around his shaft. I was close.
He seemed to know this because suddenly, I was on my hands and knees and he was doing me from behind. He grabbed my hair, pulling on it hard. My back arched.
Roy pounded into me so hard that his balls started to slap against my skin. The sound echoed against the wind. Surely, someone would hear us but I was much too enthralled to care. I was floating on cloud nine and I didn’t want to come back down to earth.
“Cum for me, baby girl.” He whispered as he tugged on my earlobe.
Those words alone were enough to send me over the edge. I screamed, eyes rolling into the back of my skull, body shaking.
A second later, he pulled out, shooting his load onto my backside. I could feel its hot stickiness coating my skin.
Exhausted, we both collapsed into the sand, breathing hard. I turned my head and looked into his eyes. Gently, I kissed his lips one more time, savoring his sweet, sweet taste. “That was amazing,” I said with a smile.
He smiled back. “Beyond amazing.”
Chapter 10 (Roy)
When we had both managed to catch our breaths, the sun was already beginning to set. “Look.” I pointed at the horizon, painted with vibrant oranges and dazzling reds.
“It’s beautiful.”
“Not nearly as beautiful as you.”
“You’re really into the cheesy pick-up lines, huh?” She teased with a smile.
Oh, that smile. It was enough to make my heart beat fast. All I wanted to do was keep her smiling for the rest of her life.
Wait. What was I thinking? This was nothing more than a one-time thing. Nothing would come of this.
Still, I picked her up and carried her over to a palm tree. I leaned against the trunk and held her in my arms. “You know, it’s been a long time since I’ve watched the sunset with someone else.”
“I’ve never done it.”
“Never?” I asked. “I find that hard to believe. You’re a beautiful woman. Surely, someone would have taken you out on a date.”
“I live on the East Coast. The sun doesn’t set into the water. It’s not nearly as romantic. And I’m not about to wake up at six in the morning to watch the sunrise.”
I laughed. “Well, then, I’m glad to be the one sharing this moment with you.”
“Me too.” She leaned her head against my chest.
I ran my fingers through her hair before kissing the top of her head.
Together, we watched the sun sink into the water. It felt good to hold someone in my arms – it felt right.
By the time the sun had disappeared, Kylie was fast asleep. I looked down and felt my heart swell. A deep, instinctual need to keep this woman safe and sound bubbled inside of me. I wanted her in my life.
It didn’t make any sense. After all, I knew little to nothing about her. She was a stranger to me. And yet, she filled a void I didn’t even know I had.
I leaned back and closed my eyes, just about to doze off myself when something vibrating nearby.
Buzz. Buzz.
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed her phone slipping out of her pocket. Gently, I laid her down on the sand and walked over to her discarded clothes. I still couldn’t believe that she had jumped into the water stark naked. It was a rather pleasant surprise. I honestly didn’t think she had it in here to be so bold.
Buzz. Buzz.
I grabbed her phone before it could dive into the water. I was about to put it back in her pant pocket when it vibrated in my hand. Instinctually, I looked at the screen where a notification popped up.
Get rid of the jade.
It’s going to get you in trouble.
Are you ignoring me?
I glanced at Kylie. No doubt she had once again stolen from me. I ground my teeth together. I should have known better. Women were always trying to use me for money and Kylie was no different. And, to think, I thought she had left that life behind and that this meant more to her than just an opportunity to fill her pockets. I guess I was wrong.
Frustrated, I shook my head, running my fingers through my hair.
I woke her up. “Come on, we’re going back. Put your clothes back on.”
She blinked, looking disoriented. “What?”
“Put your clothes back on,” I said with a firm tone of voice.
“What’s the rush?”
I didn’t bother to answer her. My blood felt like it was boiling. I couldn’t stand being duped. I really should have known better. Rarely do people change for the better. I was a fool for thinking this woman deserved a second chance.
“Roy, are you okay?” She asked as she slipped on her pants.
“Maybe you should check your phone.”
She cocked her head to the side, clearly confused by my statement. “Huh?”
But, I was already climbing the cliff face. This time, I wasn’t going to offer my help.
“Roy! Wait!” She called out.
I continued to march forward.
Once we reached the property, she grabbed me by the shoulder. “Please, you got to listen to me. It’s honestly not what you think it is.”
“Oh? Then tell me what it is.”
She stammered for answers. “Look, I thought you had changed and honestly, that’s my mistake. I should have known better. But if you think I can forgive you a second time, you have another thing coming.”
“I didn’t steal from you!”
“Oh yeah? I’ll believe that when hell freezes over. Your friend Billy made it pretty obvious.”
“You don’t even know the full context.” She took my hands and squeezed them, trying to implore me to listen to her. I snatched them away from her.
“I don’t need the full context. I know, without a doubt, that you stole from me.”
“Would you just hear me out for a second.” She looked up at me with those gorgeous green eyes of her and it was near impossible to resist her but somehow, I managed to turn on my heels and continue into the house.
“I want you to gather up all of your stuff and leave. Now.”
“Listen! I didn’t steal from you. I swear.”
I stopped, stood in front of the door, and shook my head. “I’ve heard that story a million times. I heard it from you all those years ago. And frankly, I’m sick and tired of it. All I want is a wholesome relationship – a woman I can trust – someone I can love for the rest of my life and I guess I’m foolish for thinking that I could e
ven have a relationship like that.”
“Roy...” She stepped forward.
“No. I don’t want to hear another word.”
“Please...”
I opened the door and stepped inside but as soon as I did, I could tell that something was horribly, horribly wrong.
Someone had broken in.
Without thinking, I got in front of Kylie, protecting her with my body. “Stay behind me.”
Chapter 11 (Kylie)
One second, Roy was yelling at me and the next, he was shielding me with his body.
The inside of his house was eerily quiet and it didn’t take much for me to figure out that something was wrong. I could feel the anxiety rolling off the air. I pressed myself against his body, feeling safer that way. “What’s going on?” I whispered.
“Someone’s in here.”
“A security guard, maybe?”
“No. They never step foot inside the house. They’re constantly keeping watch.”
“Then, how did someone get in here?”
“That’s what I’d like to know.”
Creak.
Overhead, the ceiling groaned. Someone was upstairs. And, by the sound of it, they were rummaging through the guest bedroom.
“Stay here. Find a place to hide and stay here.”
“You’re crazy if you think I’m just going to let you go up there by yourself.”
“Stay here.” He insisted.
“Not going to happen.” To prove my point, I grabbed a nearby vase, holding it like a weapon.
“You look ridiculous.”
“You won’t be laughing when I save your life,” I said, tightening my grip around the ceramic. “You should grab one yourself.”
“I’m good, thanks.”
My heart was racing as we started up the stairs. I had no idea what to expect. A million and one horror movies went through my head. This was definitely where we would both get killed in some horrible ax murderer killing spree.
Creak!
Roy stepped onto a loose floorboard and it groaned so loudly that it seemed to echo throughout the entire house.
I gulped. Surely, whoever had broken in knew we were coming.
We waited but nothing happened so after a minute, Roy continued forward. He took his time, clinging to the wall, and avoiding all other squeaky floorboards.
Soon, we were standing in front of the guest bedroom and I swear my heart had never beat so fast in my entire life. Adrenaline pumped through my veins. I was holding onto the vase so tightly that my knuckles had turned white.
“Stay here,” Roy said, looking over his shoulder.
“Not a chance,” I whispered back. “We’re in this together.”
“I’m not going to forgive you.”
“That’s not what I’m trying to do. I want to make sure you’re safe.”
It didn’t look like he believed me. Well, that’s his problem. Right now, all that mattered was finding out who was inside that room.
He reached for the doorknob but just then, someone squealed with excitement.
“Do you know what this is?” A mysterious woman exclaimed in a high-pitched voice.
“What?” Came a deep, guttural response.
“My bag. Well, the bag. Had some guy bring it through airport security but he was a complete idiot and grabbed the wrong bag from baggage claim. I swear, everyone is such an idiot these days. I can’t get good help even if I wanted it.”
“What’s inside?” Asked the deep voice.
“A fortune.”
“Of course, it would be her...” Roy mumbled underneath his breath.
“Huh? Do you know who it is?”
“Mhm.”
“Who?”
His face clouded over, features becoming dark. I could tell that whoever it was, he wasn’t happy to see them.
“Ex-wife.”
For some reason, his response hit me like a freight train. It never dawned on me that this man could have a wife – or, in this case, an ex-wife. I frowned. It made me jealous – almost angry – to think of him with another woman. I knew it was foolish to think that he could have been mine but a girl can dream, can’t she?
Finally, he opened up the door.
There, standing in the middle of the room was a beautiful woman. Her blue eyes sparkled as she admired the jade against the light.
Suddenly, a large, heavy-set man snatched it out of her hand. “Enough. You’re going to start drooling.”
“Hey! Give that back!” She screamed, pounding on his chest. “You’ll get your cut of the money once I’ve sold it off.”
“Hardly. I know you have a reputation for ripping people off and you aren’t going to pull the wool over my eyes.” The man growled. They were so involved in their argument that they didn’t even notice us standing there.
Roy and I exchanged a glance. He just shook her head.
“Give it back!” The woman continued to scream. Jeez, she had such a shrill voice that it just pierces right through you. I can only imagine why Roy got a divorce. I’d break up with her too. Plus, she must sound like a banshee in bed. How is anyone supposed to live with that?
“No.” The man said, holding the jade above his head.
Roy’s ex-wife jumped for it and it honestly looked like a scene straight out of a preschool playground. This woman was beyond immature.
“I swear, Larry if you don’t give it back right now, you’re going to regret it.” For the second time, she tried to make a grab for it.
Larry pinched his face together like a man who had just seen a cockroach scuttling underfoot. With one foul swoop, he struck out his hand, landing a hit on the woman’s cheek. She went flying into the bed.
My eyes widened.
I tightened my grip around Roy. Why wasn’t he doing something? Sure, maybe this was his ex-wife but he shouldn’t just stand around and watch a woman get smacked around like that.
But, it was only then that I realized that Roy was no longer standing in the doorway. He stepped forward, squared off to the thug and rolled back his shoulders. “What do you think you’re doing inside my home.”
Silence.
The tension in the air was so thick, I thought I was going to choke on it.
I stood, half hidden behind the doorway, fearing how things would unfold. The goon, Larry, honestly looked like he could snap Roy in two.
My heart hammered.
The vase in my hand felt impossibly heavy.
Was I going to have to use it?
Chapter 12 (Roy)
I don’t love my ex-wife, Tina, but I wasn’t about to let this guy lay another finger on her. Men who hit women are the ultimate scum of the Earth.
“Get out of the way.”
“No.” I stood my ground, feet firmly planted. I wasn’t about to budge for a lowlife like him.
“Roy... what are you doing here?” Tina asked as she stumbled to her feet. I caught her by the arm before she could fall. “And... why are you standing up for me.” In order to keep her steady, I had to keep one arm wrapped around her waist. She leaned against me and I caught the scent of her familiar perfume: Chanel #5. I hated that smell.
Larry chuckled as he cracked his knuckles. “I’m actually glad you showed up.” His lips curled into a sinister grin. This was the type of man you stayed away from. Of course, Tina would hire him as muscle. She’s never been a very good judge of character.
“And, why’s that?” I asked. My eyes were trained on his every movement. I had no idea what he was capable of. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much for me to choose from in terms of viable weapons. Should he attack, it would turn into a fist fight and while I keep myself in shape, I’m no match for a tank.
“Makes it more personal. After all, that'll be the location of my newest headquarters.” He tilted his head toward the window.
The mining shaft.
I should have known.
Suddenly, he snapped his fingers.
Men dressed in black emerged from
the tree line. They all held guns in their hands.
“Impressive,” I said, voice calm.
“Larry! Cut this out. I told you no guns!” Tina squealed, about to lunge forward and attack him but I held her back. The last thing I needed was for her to piss him off and get us all killed.
“Shush,” I whispered, tightening my grip around her waist.
“Don’t tell me to shush. He’s a madman.”
“Screaming at him isn’t going to help the situation.”
“Are you two done?” Larry crossed his arms over his chest. “Now, either you can come quietly or we can have a little bit of fun. The choice is yours.”
“Let go of me, you creep!”
Crash!
Kylie was being grabbed by one of the hired hands. She had thrown the vase against the side of his head. He stumbled back, blood flowing from his brow. He wiped it away with the back of his hand and growled like a wild animal about to attack.
I rushed forward, threw a punch and knocked him out.
Quickly, I grabbed Kylie, half expecting Larry to make a move that would jeopardize our lives but instead, he was just standing there with a bored expression on his face. “You put on quite the show, Mr. Butler. I’m highly entertained.” His tone was dry and unamused.
“Larry, we had a deal,” Tina exclaimed but frankly, no one was listening to her.
“Now, are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way, Mr. Butler?” Larry finally stepped forward.
Kylie cringed.
I held her behind my body, prepared to do just about anything to keep her safe.
“You aren’t the only one with hired hands,” I said, snapping my fingers just like he had a few moments ago.
Nothing happened.
He blinked.
Kylie looked at me, her brows furrowed.
“Is this supposed to be some kind of joke?” Larry asked. “Because I don’t take kindly to being mocked.”
“I just thought you’d be smarter.” I grinned. “Because any decent crook would look for security cameras.” I pointed at the corner of the room. “But, it looks like you allowed your greed to get in the way.”
Larry cursed underneath his breath.
“I have a team watching footage on a twenty-four-hour basis. I was made aware of your trespassing last night.” My grin deepened. “Seems like you have a poor sense of direction.”
